One truck, faith, family and hard work have allowed the company to grow into the modern poultry production and private trucking fleet it is today. The Brakebush Transportation fleet consists of over 73 trucks and 230 trailers, each well-serviced and ready for the road ahead. The success Brakebush has seen by providing value-added, fully cooked chicken has allowed us to expand to meet the demand for our products.
- 2013-Brakebush acquired a state of the art portioning facility in Irving, TX.
- 2016-Brakebush acquired an additional fully cooked value-added facility in Wells, MN
- 2018-Brakebush acquired a House of Raeford facility in Mocksville, NC, that was badly damaged in a late 2017 fire.
- 2019-Brakebush rebuilt the Mocksville facility into a modern value-added poultry and fully-cooked plant
Today, Brakebush continues to focus on providing the highest quality chicken products to meet the needs of their customers. From portioning and sizing of raw product in Irving, to fully cooking and par frying in Wells, Westfield, and Mocksville Brakebush is prepared to provide chicken for generations to come. We've also grown our transportation division to meet and exceed customer demands. Transportation continues to play a critical part of the service offered to our customers.
