Ohio drivers do not need to move to build an OTR reefer driving career with Brakebush. We hire qualified CDL drivers living in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Dayton and surrounding areas, with dispatch options connected to Midwest, East Coast and Southern freight movement. Brakebush handles truck service through dedicated maintenance shops in Wisconsin and North Carolina. Home time is coordinated based on lane timing, driver location and OTR scheduling.

Compensation Details:

  • Base Rate: $.60 per Practical Mile
  • Team Base Rate: $.33 per Practical Mile
  • Plus Performance Incentive: $.07 per Practical Mile
  • Plus Per Diem: $.05 per Practical Mile
  • East Coast Premium: $.10 per Practical Mile
  • Team East Coast Premium: $.05 per Practical Mile
  • Paid Weekly

 

+ Job Requirements:

  • Be 23 years or older
  • Have 2 years of verifiable OTR experience
  • Meet all DOT requirements and qualifications
  • Have a valid Class A CDL

+ Additional Pay & Incentives:

  • $15 per hour detention pay after two hours
  • $15 per hour layover pay with a 24 - hour maximum of $165
  • Quarterly Safety Bonus: up to $.01 per Practical Mile
  • Quarterly Fuel Mileage Bonus: top achievers generally earn more than $500.00 per quarter
  • PC Miles Bonus: up to $.01 per Practical Mile
  • Annual Safety Bonus: After driving 250,000 safely, drivers can receive an additional $.001 per mile for all safe driving miles driven in their career at the company.

  • 1st Stop Single - $30
  • 1st Stop Team - $15
  • 2nd Stop Single - $50
  • 2nd Stop Team - $25
  • 3rd Stop Single - $100
